With a suggested donation of $50, Minnesota locals can head up to Paisley Park and see Prince perform at Paisley Park with his new band 3rdEyeGirl and his old band New Power Generation.
“Breakfast Can Wait,” the newest single from the R&B legend’s extensive catalog, is out today (Sept. 3) at digital retailers following months of teasers and Twitter chatter.
His new track, “Groovy Potential” is a smooth jam with hand-clapped rhythms, delicate piano and sexy horn features. Forty seconds in, Prince’s familiar vocals enter.
“It’s a beautiful thing to have a friend — someone who cares about your career, and wants to see you go far and to push boundaries and shake up the world — give whatever they possibly can to the cause,” she said of Prince.
Hot on the heels of “Screw Driver,” “Breakfast Can Wait” and “FIXURLIFEUP,” Prince has released yet another new tune, “Ain’t Gonna Miss U When U’re Gone,” featuring R&B singer-songwriter Ledisi.
