This morning, the Recording Academy announced that the Beatles, the Isley Brothers, Kraftwerk and Kris Kristofferson would be among the recipients of this year’s GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Awards.
The 27 inductees range from Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,”and The Rolling Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women” to Sam Cooke’s “Wonderful World” and The Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.”
Last year was a good one for country music, but judging from the way things are shaping up for 2013, we should be in for lots more fabulous music in the coming months.
