After signing with Jay Z’s label Roc Nation, Yo Gotti will be returning in late December with a new album White Friday (CM9), which marks the latest addition to his Cocaine Muzik series. He shared “Castro” off that project today, and it features a series of heavy hitters, including Kanye West, Big Sean, Quavo from Migos and 2 Chainz.

The track has a strong Spanish theme, which pops up in references to Cuba’s former president Fidel Castro, J. Lo and more. The sleek track also nods to Desiigner’s machine gun sound, which first appeared in his hit single “Panda.” On “Castro,” Yo Gotti borrows that noise momentarily to lend the song a dark, slick feeling that heightens how well the different rappers’ styles blend together.

The features borrow many of the same players who contributed to “Round and Round (Champions)” off West’s project Cruel Winter. That track featured Quavo, Big Sean and Yo Gotti along with Travis Scott and Desiigner.

White Friday (CM9) drops December 23. Listen to “Castro” below.
