Chris Brown may be waiting to clear his name following his arrest on weapons charges, but he’s not helping his image much. While attending a charity basketball game at USC on Sunday (September 11), the singer got into a fight with someone in the stands.

Although TMZ captured footage of the fight, it’s not clear what either person is saying due to the noise in the venue. USC cops eventually had to intervene because things grew so heated.
Earlier in the game, Brown refused to stand during the national anthem, joining the movement started by San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick to protest racial inequality. John Legend has support Kaepernick’s decision not to stand during the anthem, and even suggested finding a better song to represent the United States. But given the day marked the 15th anniversary of 9/11, fellow singer Tank (who was tasked with singing the national anthem at the event) asked for everyone to stand no matter how they felt.
On Instagram, Brown posted a photo of him sitting. He captioned it, “Stay classy!” in reference to a headline about his decision not to stand during the song, but didn’t comment further.
