Lil Wayne and Birdman were reportedly in talks to settle the $51 million lawsuit Lil Wayne filed against Cash Money Records, but it sounds like things have changed. The rapper is no longer interested in settling.

Sources at the label told TMZ that all settlement possibilities ended last month when Lil Wayne found out Birdman didn’t have any plans to finally release Tha Carter V. That album was set to drop in 2014 and has been at the center of the feud between Lil Wayne and the label, which has been ongoing with lawsuits, attempted murder allegations and more.

Lil Wayne’s change of heart could have something to do with the “F— Cash Money!” chant he started on May 21 when he appeared at a Denver festival.

Whatever the reason, this is one beef that appears to be escalating once more.
