Stream Lemmy Kilmister’s Memorial Service this Saturday

The memorial service for Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead will be held this Saturday, January 9th at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood at 3pm PST.

In a statement on the band’s official Facebook page the group respectfully requests that fans do not attend due to limited space, but wholeheartedly want to involved them, providing a live stream of the event.

“So wherever you are, PLEASE get together and watch the service with fellow Motörheadbangers and friends,” reads the official statement. “GO to your favorite bar, or your favorite club, make sure they have access to an internet connection and toast along with us. Or simply invite your pals around and celebrate Lemm’s life at home. Whatever your venue, and however you can, let’s be sure to gather globally on Saturday 9th and celebrate the life of our dear friend and irreplaceable icon.”

Kilmister passed away on December 28th at the age of 70 after a battle with cancer.
