Mac Miller dropped his new video for “Brand Name,” in which he pays homage to the Truman Show, an unaware star of a reality show.
In the video Miller plays a man who lives a “square” life, working a humdrum 9-to-5. All the while, Miller is the subject of a Truman Show-styled reality program where the world is watching his every move.
The dramatic conclusion: He discovers he is part of the reality show and unplugs. The video dropped on the heels of his new album GO:OD AM, this first major label release.
