Warren Haynes‘ list of collaborators runs deep, from the Allman Brothers Band to the Dead, Gov’t Mule and David Allan Coe, and it’s about to get even longer.

The famed guitarist has announced that he’ll be working on his first-ever Americana project with help from New Jersey newgrass band Railroad Earth.

The pair teams on a 13-track album titled Ashes and Dust that consists of “folky, singer-songwriter, even Celtic” songs Haynes has written over the past 30 years, Consequence of Sound reports.

As it’s a new direction for Haynes, he’ll be using new equipment for the occasion.

‘“I played a lot more slide guitar than I’ve played in a long time and a lot of acoustic guitar, things that were more directed to weaving themselves into the fabric of this music,”  he said in a press release.

Ashes and Dust hits stores July 24 and is available for pre-order at Haynes’ website.
