Scotty McCreery‘s new single “Feelin’ It” is an ode to the best parts of summer and just might be a close contender for 2014’s song of the summer — at least certainly within the country genre.
In the music video for the song, which was released today (July 11), McCreery and friends bring the song to life on the open road, in the sand and on the beach.
“Kick back, relax, just chillin’/ I’m feelin’, I’m feelin’ it,” he sings on the chorus.
In the clip, which was directed by Roman White, McCreery heads for a drive where the blacktop ends and finds himself visiting lighthouses and hitting up the Dune Burger before his beach party begins. After a day of kayaking, jumping the waves with friends and seeing what’s rockin’ on the iPod, he takes out his guitar for a campfire sing along. And who doesn’t like one of those?
“Feelin’ It” is the second single off McCreery’s sophomore album See You Tonight and was written by his producer, Frank Rogers, and Matthew West
