by Jay Tilles

For his new song, Mike Einziger brought along a few of his high profile friends.

The Incubus guitarist has written a new song “Til Everyone Can See” in support of the World Day Against Child Labour, recruiting violinist and fiancée Ann Marie Simpson, Pharrell, Hans Zimmer, Travis Barker, composer Dom Lewis, pop singer singer LIZ and Minh Dang, a former victim of human trafficking.

The song will be available as a free download on June 12 as part of the launch for the International Labour Organization’s Red Card to Child Labour campaign.

According to Thunderclap, a “crowdspeaking platform,” over 168 million children around the world wake up and go to work every day. “They work in mines and sweatshops, on farms and on the street. Over half of them work in ways that put their health and safety at risk.”

Einziger is no stranger to interesting collaborations. Last summer, he worked with Avicii and Aloe Blacc on “Wake Me Up,” which enjoyed 21 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative, Top 40, Dance/Electronic, Hot Dance Club and Mainstream Top 40 charts. According to the  Official Charts Company, “Wake Me Up” is the UK’s eighth most downloaded song of all time.

His usual band, Incubus, last released an album, If Not Now, When?, in the summer of 2011.
