The Zac Brown Band announced today that the group’s annual Southern Ground Music & Food Festival will return this fall to Charleston, S.C. The festival will take place at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11-12.
Artists announced for the two-day event include Ashley Monroe, Blues Traveler, Gov’t Mule, the Steep Canyon Rangers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, the Old 97’s, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, the Wailers, Darrell Scott, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and Boy & Bear.
Continuing the festival’s annual tradition, Zac Brown Band will close each night with different “Super Sets” featuring special sit-in performances from other acts on the bill. The festival will also include performances by members of the ZBB, including Coy Bowles and the Fellowship, Clay Cook, and John Hopkins & Brighter Shade.
Food is, as the event’s title suggests, an equally important element at the festival. All festival attendees will have access to gourmet fare, and VIP packages are available that give attendees not only great seats but fantastic meals prepared by the a team helmed by Southern Ground’s famed Chef Rusty Hamlin.
Two-day festival passes start at $149 during presale and $169 during general sale — see the Southern Ground website for details. General ticket sales begin Saturday, May 31 at 10am ET, but fan-club members those who’ve previously attended a Southern Ground festival have access to presales.
