Radio.com caught up with The Voice winner at this month’s ACM Awards before she performed outside the LINQ in Las Vegas to bring awareness to the 2014 Outnumber Hunger campaign. She talked to us about her new single, “Young In America” and the likelihood of a future duet with tourmate Hunter Hayes.

“I feel like it was perfect for coming into the summer,” she said of “Young In America”. “Everybody’s going to be out on the water and the boat. It’s one of those songs where you can jam out to when you’re doing stuff outside. It’s a really cool song, especially for girls my age, or anybody basically. You’re young in America so have fun with it.”

Bradbery’s life has changed drastically since winning The Voice. Her first tour was with Brad Paisley and Chris Young, something she says was “really amazing.” She’s also been on the road with Hunter Hayes and Dan + Shay for Hayes’ We’re Not Invisible Tour, who she has sang with in the past. As for a future duet with the “Invisible” singer, she’s keeping her fingers crossed.

“If that comes up then I’ll be exited about it.”
