Kimbra‘s upcoming new album just got a fairly big boost in the form of a high profile guest star.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy will feature on the Australian singer’s currently-untitled new LP, Faster Louder reports. The first single from the record, the name of which has not been released, includes Bellamy on guitar, though whether he contributed vocals is unknown.

Bellamy isn’t the only artist Kimbra’s worked with for the Rich Costey-produced album. According to NME, the singer, who famously collaborated with Gotye on the GRAMMY-winning “Somebody That I Used to Know,” also recorded with John Legend, Daniel Johns of Silverchair and Foster the People‘s Mark Foster, among others. The album does not have a timetable for release at the moment.

The news of Bellamy’s feature on the album was actually revealed via other means — Kimbra announced she’ll be going out on tour with Janelle Monae for the Golden Electric Tour, a five-date jaunt through Australia and New Zealand.

Both Kimbra and Bellamy are prepping new music, though, like the former, the latter’s new material, with his band Muse, doesn’t have a definitive release date. Last November, the singer and guitarist told he was looking for a 2015 due date for the band’s seventh studio album.

“The last two albums, we sort of veered away from our instruments a little bit,” Bellamy told “We sort of focused on things like synthesizers, drum machines and various electronics and stuff. I kind of feel like on this next album, we’re going to veer back towards musicianship again and focusing on our own instruments: guitar, bass and drums. It’s probably going to be a bit of a rawer album, and definitely a bit more rock, I’d say.”
