Pharrell, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith to Play ‘Saturday Night Live’

By Shannon Carlin

For the next few weeks, Saturday Night Live will be celebrating a lot of firsts at Studio 8H.

Earlier today (March 19) the NBC show announced that Sam Smith, who also just happens to be on our radar too, will make his SNL debut on March 29 with host Louis C.K. Taylor Swift’s new favorite singer will perform songs off his upcoming debut, In The Lonely Hour, out May 26.

Pharrell (and perhaps some sort of silly hat) will hit the stage the following week on April 5 to perform songs of his latest album, G I R L. He’ll be joined by first time host Anna Kendrick, who we’re sure it will be aca-mazing.

Another first-timer Ed Sheeran will then make an appearance on the April 12 episode, hosted by Seth Rogen. Though he hasn’t announced anything official yet, Sheeran has been teasing new music. Let’s hope this is where he’ll debut it.
