Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, two members of a little band called The Beatles, will perform together on this year’s GRAMMY Awards. The pair will receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony this year. This is the first time the two have performed together since 2009 at a benefit for David Lynch Starr’s 70th birthday bash.
Also announced, Sara Bareilles will sing together with the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year and four-time GRAMMY winner Carole King.
These new additions will augment the previously announced performances, who include Lorde, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke with Chicago, Metallica, Daft Punk with Stevie Wonder, Kendrick Lamar joined by Imagine Dragons; P!nk and Nate Ruess of fun., Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton.
