It’s Official: Christine McVie Has Rejoined Fleetwood Mac

By Brian Ives

After weeks of speculation, Christine McVie has officially rejoined Fleetwood Mac.

The band’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed to Billboard that McVie has rejoined the band. McVie left in 1998, after they had gone on a successful reunion tour and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Rosenberg said McVie “has indeed rejoined Fleetwood Mac and we are hoping to make an announcement about a possible tour for the full tilt Macsters some time in 2014.”

She isn’t a founding member of Fleetwood Mac, but joined the band in 1970 after marrying bass player John McVie, and has written and sung some of the band’s biggest hits, including “Say You Love Me,”  “Sugar Daddy,” “Songbird,” “Don’t Stop,” “You Make Loving Fun,” “Over and Over,” “Think About Me,” “Hold Me,” “Little Lies” and “Everywhere.”
