Kings of Leon stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to perform two songs off their recently released 6th album, Mechanical Bull last night (October 24).
Frontman Caleb Followill showed off some of his best guitar faces, while the rest of the band showed off their harmonies with their foot-stompin’ single “Supersoaker.”
Later they performed their song “Temple,” a love song that features the line: “I’ll take one in the temple for you.” How sweet.
Yesterday the band also announced the first string of dates on their upcoming world tour.
The band kicks thing off in Atlanta, GA on February 5 before making stops in Chicago, Nashville, Boston and New York City with blues guitarist Gary Clark, Jr as the opening act.
In a statement, the band says these first 16 dates they’ve announced are only the first leg of the tour with more dates to be announced soon.
Tickets for the already announced dates go on sale November 1.
