Last night (September 11) in New York City, Kanye was out supporting his friend Pusha T’s upcoming album, My Name Is My Name (out October 8) and he decided to go off topic just a tad (watch the clip above via Miss Info).
While talking up Pusha’s talent–at one point he yelled, “Everything is Pusha T!”–he decided to also rail against corporate America, using more than a few choice words in the process.
“This n**** the heart of the motherf***er culture for you culture vultures,” Kanye said. “This the only n**** spitting that wild motherf***er hip-hop shit right now, that’s why I stand next to this n****. I don’t give a f*** about none of these corporations, none of these f***ing sellouts, this is motherf***er Pusha T.”
After spitting a freestyle that rhymed “loose” and “goose,” Kanye continued, “We don’t give a f*** about how much goddamn money you make,” calling out some of his fellow rappers who are “trying to extend their motherf***er t-shirts, trying to throw numbers on the back of their shit… this motherf***er Pusha T.
As Pusha and the rest of the crowd looked on confused, ’Ye added, “‘I have a t-shirt line, cause I got numbers at the back of my shit.’ F*** you.” Only fitting that this rant happened during New York’s Fashion Week, where Kanye’s been seen checking out multiple shows.
While this isn’t the first time Yeezy has expressed his opinion about “the system,” this time around Kanye seemed aware of how silly his ranting can be. After finishing his tirade, he smiled as he made his way into the crowd to listen to Pusha T’s G.O.O.D music.
Along with his support for Pusha, Kanye also seems to be showing his love for Miley Cyrus, who yes, really is featured on a remix of “Black Skinhead.” Producer Mike Will confirmed yesterday that the rumors were true. “[Miley and I] went to the studio with Kanye,” revealed Mike on MTV’s RapFix Live. “[The song's] about done. It’s about there. It sounds crazy too.”
