Hole frontwoman Courtney Love has been busy, currently starring in a splashy ad campaign for Saint Laurent alongside Marilyn Manson and Sonic Youth‘s Kim Gordon. Furthermore, Fall Out Boy recently announced that she appears on the band’s forthcoming comeback album, Save Rock & Roll.
Now, Love is tapping into her acting chops to star in a “web series” of ads promoting NJOY brand electronic cigarettes. True to form, the polarizing rocker drops an F-bomb in the spot’s climatic moment as she faces down a stuffy aristocrat for smoking one of the e-cigarettes inside a palatial setting. The spot also features a snippet from the title track of Hole’s 1998 album, Celebrity Skin.
Love has an impressive filmography that includes roles in such critically acclaimed movies as Basquiat and The People vs. Larry Flynt, which earned the singer a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture category for her portrayal of Althea, Flynt’s wife.
