The rapper, who Forbes just named the wealthiest hip-hop artist, will be performing his Dirty Money single “Coming Home,” featuring Skylar Grey, at the annual televised wrestling show. The single off of 2010′s Last Train To Paris was also selected to serve as this year’s theme song.
During Wrestlemania week, Diddy is also set to co-host the WWE’s Superstars for Sandy Relief charity event, which auctions off one-of-a-kind experiences with celebrities like Tyra Banks, Carrie Underwood, Stings, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and a chance to attend a NASCAR race with WWE star John Cena. The rapper has signed on as an ambassador to the organization’s “Be A STAR” anti-bullying campaign as well.
Even with a live audience of over 70,000 fans (and millions more slated to be watching at home,) Diddy is no stranger to the Wrestlemania world. He appeared at the wrestling show just last year to introduce protégé Machine Gun Kelly, who performed with Flo Rida.
In addition to Diddy, Variety reports that Donald Trump, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Extra co-host Maria Menounos are all slated to make appearances at events surrounding Wrestlemania 29, which are split between New York City and New Jersey.
The pay-per-view event hits the small screen April 7 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
