Birdman revealed the image of his new tattoos via his Instagram account on Sunday (March 24). The caption read: “Richgang GTV TRUKFIT.YMCMB”
Above his left eye “Rich Gang” is scrolled in red, a nod to his forthcoming album, Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle. Atop the “Rich Gang” tattoo is “GTV,” his vodka company Grand Touring Vodka. And on his lower neck, reportedly Wayne’s TRUKFIT clothing brand is inked, though that tattoo is difficult to make out in the photo.
Birdman also showcased the image of “Rich Gang” scrolled onto his right cheek. “YMCMBusine$$.RichGang,” he wrote, shouting out his Young Money Cash Money crew that includes Lil Wayne, Tyga, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
His new tattoos take their place among the many inked tears and stars already on his face. His new images follow the recent reveal of Game‘s latest tattoos of President Barack Obama, Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali.
As previously reported by Radio.com, there was plenty of speculation about Wayne’s use of Sizzurp floating around last week. Birdman rejected the claims and insisted Wayne’s health complications were not a result of drug use.
“Honestly, it’s his work ethic,” Birdman said during a radio interview on Monday (March 18). “[It’s] how hard he works and how much dedication he gives his music and fans and what he’s trying to accomplish in life. Had nothing to do with drugs.”
Both artists are promoting new albums. Lil Wayne’s I Am Not a Human Being II hits stands March 26 and Birdman’s Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle album is due out on May 21.
