LL Cool J Headlines Tour With Public Enemy, Ice Cube And De La Soul

To cap off his gig as host of the 2013 GRAMMYs, LL Cool J was joined by Chuck D and a slew of other artists to perform “Whaddup,” the new single off upcoming album Authentic.

Turns out the party ain’t over yet. In May, he’ll be joined again by Chuck D (performing as part of Public Enemy), as well as Ice Cube and De La Soul, on the Kings of the Mic tour. DJ Z-Trip will act as LL’s touring DJ.

Attendees of SXSW got a sneak peek of the lineup last Thursday at the Doritos Bold stage, with everyone on the tour bill but De La Soul (replaced by Doug E. Fresh) performing.

LL Cool J’s Authentic, the rapper’s 13th album, is set for release May 7.

The tour will run 26 dates, beginning in Tucson, Ariz., and finish at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on July 5. Check below for a full list of tour dates, locations and venues.
