When Olly Murs performs live, he barely has to sing. His fans are ready to do it for him. Not that he minds one bit, since it just gives him more time to flirt.
In an exclusive live video, only available on Radio.com, Murs performs his latest single “Troublemaker” for a sold-out crowd at his January show at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles.
“I know for a fact there’s plenty of U.S. troublemakers in here tonight,” he said with a smile.
Just saying those words made the ladies in the audience go wild, and we mean ladies since you’ll be hard pressed to spot anyone with a Y-chromosome in the crowd. Seriously, just try!
With help from his six-piece band, Murs takes over the stage for his first headlining show in America. He stalks around, reaching for hands and miming lyrics like,”I see a silhouette every time I close my eyes,” with a devilish grin.
And even though his U.S. debut, Right Place Right Time, isn’t out yet, the crowd knows every word of “Troublemaker,” even taking on the chorus themselves. (Watch Murs explain his inspiration for “Troublemaker” in Radio.com‘s video interview.)
The crooner, who opened for One Direction in the States, not only gets the ladies going with his soulful voice, but manages to elicit high-pitched screams anytime he adjusts his trademark fedora. And the minute he swivels those hips, well, things get a little crazy.
