Levon Helm Tribute Concert To Be Released As Album

In October of 2012, one of the best lineups of rock, country and soul acts came together to pay tribute to the late Band drummer/singer Levon Helm at New Jersey’s Izod Center. The Love For Levon Concert (read our review here) featured current and former members of The Band, The Eagles, The Allman Brothers Band, Pink Floyd and My Morning Jacket, among others, and raised funds to help Helm’s estate keep ownership of his home, barn and studio, and to continue the “Midnight Ramble Sessions,” which Helm hosted and headlined in the last few years of his life.
